Quite a departure from the wild territories they ventured into with their major label releases. So far, the greatest thrash metal I've heard released in the 2020's. Plus, it's not everyday you hear Rhea Perlman on a metal record. t0cktock

Quand une grande partie des albums de Dälek atteint presque le tour de cadran, Asphalt For Eden dépasse à peine les trente-huit minutes (il est même plus court que Negro Necro Nekros). En revanche, il est intense. C'est un album de la déprime urbaine : nous avons le droit à un paradis mais il est fabriqué de toutes pièces, surveillé et couvert de béton ("I'm trying to breathe / Motherfuckers let us breathe") ; le drone est irrespirable. Mais il y a quand même un son éthéré et paradisiaque... Jordan Vauvert
